Art Classes

Painting is a wonderfully relaxing hobby, open to all abilities. Sam offers many art classes for those wanting to learn a new skill, develop their painting style or just take time out to enjoy their surroundings whilst be creative! There is no need to have any experience, or talent! Classes can be tailored to suit individual requirements, such as painting outdoors or developing a particular artistic skill.

Prices include all materials (unless otherwise specified) and refreshments. Usually art classes and workshops take place in Sam’s home just outside Cheltenham. On occasions external workshops are run alongside other artists and art groups, please follow us on facebook to find out about these specific events.

New Masters - 18 yrs +

The New Master Classes are aimed at adults who wish to learn to paint, develop their skills or just unwind with a paint brush.

No talent required, just passion and enthusiasm to try!

Mini Masters - 5-18 yrs

Mini Master Classes are aimed at children and teens who enjoy being creative! Sam is DBS checked and has 20 years teaching experience both in schools and as a private tutor.

Ages 5-11

Art classes are a fun way to develop fine motor skills, work on handwriting issues and build confidence within children. It’s also a great way for children to unwind and develop creative thinking. Being artistic isn’t a prerequisite!

Classes can involve painting, developing art skills, creating and making gifts, masks, toys and such.

Ages 11-18

Art classes at this age focus more on developing artistic ability, with specific guidance for GCSE and A-Level students. Sam will teach skills when painting and offer suggestions, encouraging creative thought and inspiration for original works of art.

Prices include all materials and a drink. To be booked in half termly blocks.
